Shipping, Your Way: Personalize Every Label with Shippy

Save the details your team uses every day, and spend less time entering them on the next shipment. Your warehouse address, regular box size, and preferred units shouldn't need a fresh decision every time a package leaves the building.
Shippy by Dijy, the native HubSpot shipping label app, lets you shape shipping around your team. Think “set it once, ship faster forever”: save the repeatable details, then choose the shipment-specific options when you need them. Here's how to make that setup your own.
Pull Recipient Details from Your Own HubSpot Fields
Shippy's property mapping pulls recipient information from the HubSpot fields you choose instead of relying on the defaults. You can map recipient name, address, phone, and email for contacts, companies, deals, tickets, and orders.
Configure the mapping for each object your team ships from. That keeps your shipping setup aligned with the fields your team already maintains, rather than asking everyone to copy information into a second set of properties.
For example, your deals might store “Shipping Address” separately from the customer's billing address. Map the shipping fields so Shippy pulls the destination your team intended, along with the right recipient name and contact details.
Save Sender Addresses Your Team Recognizes
Preset sender addresses save your team from typing the same origin address repeatedly. Add the locations you ship from, give each an internal name, and select one default sender address.
For example, name your main shipping location “Warehouse” and make it the default. Save “Head Office” as another preset for the occasional package sent from the office. Recognizable names make the choices easier to understand than a list of street addresses.
Keep Your Regular Packages Ready to Go
Preset packages let you reuse a package's name, dimensions, and weight. Set one as the default so it loads during shipment creation, while keeping other presets available for different orders.
For example, save your regular “Welcome Kit” box as the default instead of entering its measurements each time. When the contents or packaging change, choose another preset or enter the correct details for that parcel.
You can also use carrier-provided packaging. Match the package to the carrier's supported packaging rather than treating every shipment as a custom box, especially when using a flat-rate service.
Use the Measurements Your Team Knows
Shippy supports imperial and metric units, so your shipment details can match the way your team measures packages. Choose inches and pounds or centimeters and kilograms as your preferred system.
For example, if your packing team records box dimensions in centimeters and weight in kilograms, choose metric. The shipment starts with familiar units, giving everyone one less thing to change before moving on.
Choose the Carriers and Accounts You Use
Shippy's default carrier options include USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL if enabled. Turn on the carriers you use so the choices reflect your business's shipping routine.
You can also connect your own carrier accounts when your Shippy plan supports them. Your account rates appear alongside default carrier rates, and “My carriers only” lets you narrow the options to your connected accounts.
For example, a business with its own UPS account can connect it and filter to “My carriers only” when comparing its account's available services. Your team can work with the carrier relationship you've already established.
Choose the Shipping Details Each Shipment Needs
Shipping Options gives you control over delivery confirmation, billing, carrier notification email, and handling instructions during shipment creation. These choices let you match the shipment to the situation instead of treating every package the same.
Delivery confirmation: Choose the signature requirement for the shipment. For example, select an appropriate signature option when sending a valuable sample that needs a confirmed handoff.
Billing: Choose who covers the carrier cost: sender, recipient, or a third party. For example, select recipient billing when your customer is covering freight under your agreed shipping arrangement.
Carrier notification email: Provide the email address the carrier should use for shipment notifications. For example, use the customer's receiving-team email rather than the contact who originally placed the order.
Handling instructions: Add specific handling or delivery notes. For example, include “Deliver to receiving entrance” for a customer whose deliveries go to a different door from visitor arrivals.
Reverse the Addresses for a Return Label
The Return Label checkbox reverses the addresses on the shipment you're creating. The contact's address becomes the sender, and your address becomes the recipient.
For example, when a customer sends a sample back, use the checkbox to create a label for that return journey. It does not add a second return label to an outbound shipment, so treat it as a direction change for the label you're preparing.
Make Packing Slips Look Like Your Business
Shippy lets you personalize deal-based packing slips with your logo and a primary brand color. You can also choose whether to display prices, including unit price and amount.
For example, add your logo and brand color to a customer-facing packing slip, then hide prices for a gift shipment. Your team keeps the item details useful while choosing how the document represents your business.
