Here's the deal - if you're creating shipping labels and using HubSpot, we know you're stuck flipping between tabs. Aren't you tired of the continuous copy/paste?
Shippy by Dijy is completely integrated with HubSpot to make your shipment process smoother and more convenient. Shippy compliments HubSpot's interface and plugs in to app cards on the right-hand side of enabled HubSpot objects, allowing you to confirm address information, add parcel details, select your carrier, and generate a shipment - all in one place.
We've explored various use cases with Shippy and created a connection so powerful, it supports nearly all shipping needs. Looking to make your process simpler? Read on below!
Multiple Package Shipments
Let's say you often send shipments with multiple packages. This could include branded merch for employees, goods for customers, or samples for prospects. If a customer is expecting multiple items, shouldn't you be able to include each package within the same shipment?
Shippy by Dijy allows you to set the quantity when inputting measurements for each package. You can either indicate multiple of the same package or add additional packages within the same shipment. Shippy accommodates your multi-package shipments without charging per label and instead, generates one file with all labels, ready for printing. This method saves you from systems charging per-label costs and allows you to maintain line of sight within the same shipment.
Bulk Downloading & Printing
Here at Dijy, we don't expect you to download every shipment after the point of creation. You likely find yourself busy in various capacities, tending to tasks while dreaming about your next coffee. In order to make your experience that much simpler, we support bulk downloading and printing directly within the Shippy app card settings.
Not only can you bulk download in general, but you can bulk print from a specific time frame. There's no expiration of your shipment history; everything you've generated will be accessible here. That way, you can dedicate a set date or time that you plan to download everything all together.
Once you've successfully downloaded and sent your shipments to the printer, you can indicate which labels have been printed by selecting a "Printed" checkbox. This ensures there's no duplication of efforts, and everyone on your team with access to Shippy is on the same page.
Shipment Tracking in HubSpot
Hooray, you've sent your shipment! It's been scanned by the carrier and your recipient is awaiting delivery. How do you know where the package is without heading to the carrier's dedicated tracking page? With Shippy, there are two primary ways to monitor the tracking status: custom fields, and an associated Order object.
Shippy connects to Contacts, Companies, Deals, Tickets, and Orders in HubSpot. Once enabled, you'll see custom fields on the shipment's record displaying the tracking number, status, and status detail. These can be highlighted on the left-hand side in a custom "Shippy" section, or even on the front of a deal card for line of sight. For the marketers out there, yes - you can use these fields as tokens for marketing emails and automations!
In addition to custom fields, Shippy creates an Order object associated with the initial record and displays all tracking details within the association card, as well as in a Shippy Orders pipeline.
Automated Shipment Generation
If your Ecommerce software is integrated with HubSpot, transactions likely reflect as deals. Deal stages support visual tracking within pipelines, and if a transaction is successful, "Closed Won" would likely be the final update. If you have a Super Shipper subscription with Shippy, you can rely on workflow actions to create a shipment on your behalf.
When you're generating a shipment via automation, Shippy allows you to fill the recipient's address with the tokens from the contact, company, deal, or ticket record. Therefore, if you plan to leverage automated shipment generation, simply ensure you have address information stored in property fields accordingly!
Connect Your Custom Carriers
Those with high shipment volume may have custom carrier accounts they rely on for rates or shipping timelines. In order to connect your custom carrier account with Shippy, you'll want to opt for the Super Shipper monthly subscription. This allows you to log in to your carrier account and displays your custom carrier rates alongside default rates when generating a shipment.
If you no longer need to display the defaults, you can toggle them off in the Shippy app card settings. When generating a shipment, you can also choose to display only your carrier rates for ease of selection.
Common Shipment Types
With Shippy, you can generate shipping labels for a variety of packages. Here are a few common cases:
- Company swag or electronics for new employees
- Sample products for interested prospects
- Thank You gifts for donors
- Purchased goods for customers, including (but not limited to):
